In 2024, I was tapped by director Jon Garcia to work on a Kickstarter video for the board game Glim, created by Blair Witch Project creators Eduardo Sanchez and Gregg Hale.
With the game still just a concept, they needed a high-quality depiction of what the backers would receive. Since Glim is a fantasy strategy game that takes place in a mythical fairy world, the visualizations of the gameplay should have a mystical quality.
Using models provided by the Glim team, other elements modeled from scratch, and textures adapted from the Grayscalegorilla Plus library, I created finished renders that bring a sense of dynamism to the gameplay. To give a mystical flourish, I used Trapcode particle simulations to reveal the game pieces in After Effects.
